Mervyn White

Mervyn, born and raised in the Orangeville area, is a senior lawyer practicing for nearly 30 years with a wide range of litigation experience. Mervyn regularly represents clients in trials and appeals, and has appeared at all levels of provincial and federal courts, including the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Whenever possible, Mervyn works to negotiate a settlement of his clients’ disputes. He is committed to finding the best possible settlement in a timely and cost-efficient manner. However, when trials or arbitration are required, Mervyn brings his years of experience successfully advocating for his clients before judges and arbitrators to bear.
Mervyn is also a certified mediator/arbitrator, and can use his years of experience to help parties into reasonable negotiations in mediation, or to make an award based on the specific facts of the case. He works with the parties to understand the circumstances that make their situation unique.
In his personal time, Mervyn enjoys landscape painting, reading horror and sci-fi, and gardening, all while in the company of his miniature schnauzer Millie.
